Water Goes Straight to the Root – Nothing Wasted
Drip irrigation delivers water slowly and directly to the root zone of each plant through a network of pipes and small outlets called emitters. Instead of spraying or flooding, water arrives drop by drop – so almost none is lost to evaporation or runoff. Your plants get a steady, even supply, and you use far less water than hand-watering with a hose.
The system can run on gravity from a roof tank or with a pump, and can be left fully manual or upgraded to run automatically on a timer. We design the right version for your specific setup after looking at your space.

Pots That Water Themselves
This is the most common request we get in Karachi: a roof full of pots, gamlay or grow bags that are hard to water consistently, especially when you travel. Here's how we think through your system, and what decides the price.
Fully automatic or semi-automatic?
The first and most important question is how hands-off you want to be:
- Fully automatic – runs on a timer with a solenoid valve, switching on and off by itself on your schedule. Travel for two weeks and come back to living plants. The automation unit (timer + solenoid) adds roughly Rs 10,000–20,000.
- Semi-automatic / manual – you open one valve yourself. Cheaper, and fine if you're home daily with fewer pots.
Do you need a pump, or will gravity do?
- Pots and tank on the same level with up to ~30 pots → gravity is usually enough, no pump.
- Many more pots on the same level → a small booster pump gives even pressure to every emitter.
- Even with 200+ pots, if the tank sits about 10 ft higher (one floor up), gravity is often enough on its own.
Pipe & emitters
We map the pipe to where your pots actually sit, then fit emitters by plant – as a rule, one emitter per pot, and 2–4 for a large or long rectangular planter so water spreads evenly.
"Will the pipe be visible?" Mostly not an issue. The supply line is usually 16 mm pipe (half inch). On gardens and beds we can bury it between plants for a clean, tidy finish – emitters stay at the surface where the water is needed.

Integrated (inline) vs online drip – which one?
The choice follows a simple industry rule based on plant-to-plant spacing:
- Integrated / inline drip – emitters built into the pipe at fixed intervals. Best when plant-to-plant distance is less than ~6 ft (vegetables, dense row crops).
- Online drip – emitters fitted onto the pipe wherever each plant sits. Best when distance is more than ~6 ft (orchards, widely-spaced trees).
What decides farm cost
- Water quality & filtration – disc, sand-media, hydrocyclone, or a combination. Boring/canal water needs more filtration than clean tank water.
- Can we reuse your existing pump? That reduces cost.
- Crop, plant spacing, row-to-row distance – these set how much pipe and how many emitters you need.
- How many acres – the head unit (pump, filters, venturi injector) is a fixed cost. On one acre it carries the whole head-unit cost; across 5 acres the per-acre cost drops.

04 · Quality
This Is an Investment, Not a Cost
This is what cheap material buys you: leaks, clogs and cracked fittings within months. The market is full of sub-standard drip parts. The same residential system that costs around Rs 60,000 in standard, durable components can be assembled for as little as Rs 20,000 in cheap material – and the same gap exists on farms, where sub-standard systems can look cheaper at Rs 2–3 lakh per acre. Penny-wise, pound-foolish.
A standard-quality system, with basic maintenance like periodic filter cleaning, lasts roughly 5–8 years and pays you back the whole time in saved water, saved labour and healthier, more uniform plants. We'd rather build you one good system than be called back to replace a cheap one – that's the honest call we make on every job.

Clogging comes from unfiltered water, which is why correct filtration (disc, sand-media or hydrocyclone, matched to your source) is essential. With the right filter and periodic cleaning, a standard system runs reliably for 5–8 years.
